VMAR Cessna 182 Skylane - Iconic Scale Perfection.

One of the most recognizable aircraft in aviation today, Cessna rolled out the iconic 182 Skylane in 1956, offering one of the most widely used private aircraft flown in the skies above. Incorporating a host of upgrades over earlier Cessna models, the 182 Skylane incorporates a wider fuselage, swept tail fin, engine upgrades, and an array of modifications that has proven the Cessna brand as a true staple in the aviation world.

Modeled in beautiful form, VMAR brings the epic Cessna 182 Skylane to life, drawing extensively from its true scale form. With a rugged tricycle landing gear to its iconic high wing layout, the Cessna 182 Skylane looks as good as it flies, offering ultra benign flying characteristics as it graces the skies above.

Dressed in classic Cessna livery, the 182 Skylane is constructed of durable balsa & ply, covered in a vivid Polycote ECS covering for rapid overall assembly. With its ARF layout and pre-covered construction, assembly time is minimal, bringing this beautiful aircraft to full completion in hours versus days.

Designed with a 63.5" wingspan with light overall wing loading, the 182 Skylane utilizes dual servo ailerons actuated by (1) servo per aileron for maximum levels of aircraft control. With full (4) channel control utilizing standard servos for ailerons, elevator & rudder, the Cessna 182 Skylane is a joy to fly, offering rich scale flight characteristics with nimble yet forgiving precision and control.

Incorporating a Power Module design for the ultimate ease in motor mounting options, VMAR offers glow or electric flexibility, allowing you to choose a power system that best suits you - no modifications required. Whether you choose high power electric or glow power bliss, the Cessna 182 Skylane is ready and waiting for your power of choice, with no additional modifications required to get the job done.
